Tooth Replacement Completed
The advantage of a ceramic abutment (or post) is that it avoids the dark appearance metal can introduce. The crown can then also be all-ceramic, further enhancing a life-like appearance. In this case, the natural tooth fractured and needed to be replaced. A temporary crown was placed the same day the tooth was extracted and the implant placed.
